back to basics workshops

“Back to Basic” workshops were held in October 2015. Workshops took place at an open art space and gallery located in Beyoglu (Püristanbul). During the meetings, Enzo Mari’s Autoprogettazione Project (1974) was introduced with the participants and they experienced how groundbreaking and inspiring project it was.

Starting from Mari’s chair designs, participants built furnitures with only precut wooden pieces, nails and hammer; basic tools everybody has at home. Workshops allowed active collaboration among participants which also assured knowledge passing down from one another while having an enjoyable time.
